What you will be doing
As 1st Senior Ops Hire you will support the Founder/CEO to enable day-to-day operations and build foundational infrastructure. You will be the #1 ops hire for Opal which is in high growth mode. You will build, evaluate and enforce process, working with agencies, contractors and other team members.
Core:
- Financial reporting and analysis: ROI measurement, cash management and models. Weekly internal report and monthly external/investor report.
- Customer experience and engagement: improve customer satisfaction and retention, addressing customer feedback and issues. Develop reengagement outreach to increase ARPU.
- Talent: Organize hiring process for all teams. Proactively build a pipeline for key roles.
- Team performance: Track KPIs. Set and maintain a high bar for precision and accountability. Coach / suggest improvements. Regularly report on progress to CEO.
- Purchasing: Vendors / Payments / Invoicing.
- Investor Relations: help maximize the value we get from investors, provide clarity and information when needed. Assist CEO with boards and fundraising.
- Partnerships: identify high-impact partners that can use our product and help grow our audience.
- General Marketing: own projects to sell Opal including B2B pilots.
